Really Local Group creates and restores cultural infrastructure though the regeneration and renewal of the UK’s high streets.
Each of our bespoke venues provides a mixture of:
- 3 or 4 screen cinema
- Live music & comedy programme
- Community spaces
- Coffee shop / bar
- ‘Pop up’ stalls for local food and products
- Recording studios
- Artist workspaces
Localism: The future is local
We recruit direct from the communities we are serving and are proud to be a London Living Wage employer.
Our venues are uniquely designed to reflect their locality – we engage with local arts clubs and community groups to facilitate their activities by providing them with a much needed ‘home’.
Creativity: Creative hubs on the high street
The size and scope of our venues act as a catalyst for wider regeneration of the local area.
We make the creative arts more accessible by providing affordable artist workspace and developing a sustainable creative community.
Community: Really Local Fund C.I.C.
We invest a fixed percentage of our net profit back into empowering the local community through the Really Local Fund C.I.C. (application pending) which will:
- Support local entrepreneurs
- Provide subsidised space for the community
- Subsidise education/training for young people
Accessibility: Inclusive and affordable venues
Our average ticket price is between £5 and £8 for cinema – competitors charge £10 to £20 or more. We control all our own programming allowing a local focus at each venue.
