Job description:
As Social Media & Content Creator for our venues, you will be a key member of the Really Local Group team. A lover of all things social media, with a passion for community and culture and an expertise in content creation and building engaged followings across platforms.

By working closely with colleagues from every department across all our sites, you will develop an in-depth understanding of what makes our communities tick and leverage this knowledge to effectively create engaging digital content. You will be responsible for interacting with our different audiences across our suite of channels and will have experience managing and organising a social media content calendar. You will be a proactive creative thinker, who can bring their own ideas to the table.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Strategy, you will be part of the team responsible for all external and internal communications with our range of audiences, from our customers, members and through to our industry partners. You will understand the different tone of voice needed for talking to different audiences and will proactively design and deliver impactful and captivating digital content relevant to each venue’s target audience.

You will have a passion for film and entertainment, as well as key cultural happenings and will collaborate with the programmers and on-site venue teams on content creation that taps into the heart of local culture and communities.

The package:
£26,000 to £28,000 base salary dependent on experience, with 20 days holiday per year (excluding bank holidays).

The role will be based in and around Greater London, split across the venues (3 days cinema venues, 2 days Peckham Levels), with the opportunity to work from home from time to time.

Duty Manager, Ealing Project

We are currently seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our team as a duty manager.

The duty manager is a key position in the successful running of the venue. As part of the core management team, they need to take charge of the team by providing high level customer service, trouble shooting any issues that arise, maintain the business to a high level and offer support to staff members.

Events & Sales Manager

The company has transformed a diverse range of disused locations and now runs: Catford Mews, Ealing Project, Peckham Levels, Reading Biscuit Factory and Sidcup Storyteller. The venues have a bespoke cultural offer, including cinema, a live entertainment space, a community-based events programme, workspace, a full-service bar and cafe stocking local brands, and, where possible, a food market.

We entertain with film, comedy, live music, games, food and drink and provide a safe, welcoming, accessible and flexible place for the community to use for many other purposes.

We are a small team with big ambitions to bring redefined spaces to the heart of local communities.

Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Events & Sales Manager will be responsible for maximising Really Local Group’s sales potential and achieving its targets.

As a key member of the RLG team, the Events & Sales Manager will be responsible for setting key revenue and profit targets and delivering them the entire portfolio of sites, but with a particular focus on Catford Mews and Ealing Project.

The role will be responsible for managing events from first discussions through to delivery. The Events & Sales Manager will be required to pro-actively acquire new leads and build a strong portfolio of potential clients.

Events that the Events & Sales Manager will be responsible for leading on range from private film screenings, corporate events, film festivals, to comedy nights, special events, and local community events.

We are looking for an experienced sales manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will be an integral part of growing the Really Local Group business. The Events & Sales Manager will be tasked with finding innovative ways to increase sales revenues, by continuously delivering on strategies for new potential clients, events and revenue streams.

£35,000 to £40,000 base salary dependent on experience (plus bonus scheme), with 20 days holiday per year (excluding bank holidays).

The role will be based in and around Greater London, split across the venues (focusing on Ealing Project and Catford Mews), with the opportunity to work from home from time to time.
